Vladolph Putler

Mercenary. Fixer. Professional survivor.

Vladolph Putler

Recorded history

Nobody agrees where Vladolph Putler was actually born, and he never corrects anyone.

Some say he came out of the Eastern Zones, raised between rusted factories and frozen checkpoints. Others claim he’s the son of a German engineer and a Russian military contractor, raised on stories of collapsed empires and the art of surviving when systems fail. What is known is that Putler learned early that loyalty is temporary, but reputation is currency.

Before the Wasteland fractured into factions and trade routes, Putler worked convoy security along the old border corridors. He earned a name for himself not because he was the strongest or fastest, but because he finished contracts. Escorts made it through. Targets disappeared. Debts were collected. Quietly.

When the collapse came, he didn’t join a faction.

He watched them instead.

Militia rise and fracture. Contractors sell out. Traders become kings overnight and corpses the next day. Putler adapted, becoming what the Wasteland needed most: a neutral blade for hire. He works for anyone willing to pay, but betrayal carries a price that most learn only once.

Rumour says he keeps a small notebook of names: not enemies, just unfinished business.

Now he walks the Ashes of the Wasteland, taking contracts, trading favours, and building a network stronger than any banner or uniform. Some see him as a necessary evil. Others as an opportunist.

Putler simply calls it survival.

Rules he lives by
